We had the absolute joy of photographing Colleen and Brian’s wedding day here on the Big Island of Hawaii, and wow, it was everything you’d imagine a tropical celebration to be – vibrant, heartfelt, full of love, and dipped in golden Hawaiian light.
While the ceremony took place at the dreamy Sunshine Farms (which, quick heads up, is no longer a wedding venue), what really stood out was the energy and connection of the day. Colleen and Brian are the kind of couple who beam with love and laughter, and photographing them was like riding a warm wave of joy from start to finish.
Their reception? Held at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel – such a great spot for couples looking for something central in Kona, with an oceanfront view and space for guests to relax and celebrate. The sunset portraits we captured along the beach there? Chef’s kiss.
