We're total opposites in the best way: Marissa's the sentimental, artsy eye behind the lens (blame it on growing up with a painter grandma who taught her the magic of light and composition), while Rui’s the nature-loving, barefoot explorer who grew up on the Azores islands and knows every native plant by name.

Rui is our barefoot nature-lover with roots in the Azores Islands of Portugal. He grew up exploring volcanic cliffs and lush trails, and he’s never stopped chasing adventure. If you ever wonder what that flower is or which trail leads to the best jungle view, Rui’s your guy—he somehow knows every plant in Hawaii by name. He’s all about finding the wild, beautiful corners of the islands and making couples feel totally at ease in front of the camera.
